Wednesday Evening Children’s Program at 4 p.m. with Bible Study, crafts or recreation and dinner served at 5:30 p.m.  The Youth Group will eat dinner at 5:30 p.m. then go to Bible Study and Recreation. The adults will eat at 5:30 p.m. followed by a video, discussion & prayer.

The Missons Committee is collecting new backpacks.  Some stores still have them marked down.  If you are able to purchase any please leave in the foyer.   

New Horizons is requesting donations of men’s button down shirt, cotton blend, (no polyester or snaps), to make dresses for Dress A Girl.  Any older, closet clean shirts would be appreciated.  Please give any donations to Teresa Brown. 

We are collecting an item for Skyline every month.  October:  Baby Wipes    November:  Hand Sanitizer    December:  Paper Towels.   January:  Kleenex

Please sign up to help with Sunday School & Worship Nursery.

Please use the sign-up sheet to provide desserts for Wednesdays.   

Each Sunday starting November 2nd, we will have music practice for Christmas immediately following worship.  Please join us or see Justin for information. 

The Benevolence Committee will be taking names for Thanksgiving baskets starting Sunday, November 2nd, through Wednesday, November 19th.  Baskets will be delivered November 22nd or 23rd.  Donations to assist with the baskets would be appreciated.  Please see Beverly, Judy, or Dawn for more information.   

DCASB Ladies Bible Study is held on Tuesdays through November 4th at 9:30. 

Adults, please join us each Wednesday for a meal & fellowship at 5:30 p.m. followed by a video series called  “Fire On the Mountain”, prayer and discussion.

Today:  Benefit Concert by County Men of Note at Prairie Chapel at 6 p.m.  All proceeds will go towards their food pantry. 

October 27th & 28th:  Missouri Baptist Convention Annual Meeting. 

October 31st:  City of Urbana Halloween, here at 5 p.m. Our church will be serving hot dogs, chips, and drinks.  If you are able to help in the kitchen or at our church table, please see a member of the Missions Committee. 

November 1st:  Mt. Pleasant Harvest Party at 5 p.m.

November 2nd:  Daylight Savings Time. Children’s Sermon after offertory.  The Lord’s Supper will also be observed.  If you know a homebound person that would like to take the Lord’s Supper please see Pastor Dale. 

November 5th—8th:  Promise Point Revival with Dale Henderson at 7 p.m.

November 9th:  Veteran’s Day Slideshow & Patriotic Music.  We will be updating last year’s slideshow.  Please submit pictures to Heather by November 2nd. 

November 16th:  Firefighter Appreciation Dinner at 5 p.m.  If you can help in the kitchen with preparing, serving, or clean up please see Linda or use the sign–up sheet.  Any help would be appreciated!
