Dan Sheckler is leading a group that will be meeting with the purpose of brainstorming positive ideas to grow this Church and Christ’s Ministry through this Church. They will be taking any ideas to promote our church, whether it is a positive or an issue, all views are considered. All emails will only be seen by Dan Sheckler and will remain anonymous to the other committee members and to the church. Please email theurbanachurch@gmail.com

August 2nd & 3rd: DCASB Youth Rally. August 2nd will be held at Union Mount Southern Baptist Church and August 3rd we will be hosting! If you are able to help out please see Gregg Owens.
August 4th: The Lord’s Supper will be observed.
August 4th: Special business meeting immediately following worship.
August 17th: DCASB Children’s Pool Party at the Buffalo City Pool from 6:00-8:00 p.m.. This is for pre-K through sixth grades. Please call 417-396-3266 for more information or to register. Free food & fellowship.
August 20th: DCASB Executive Board at 7 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant.
August 31st: Olive Point Dinner and Auction for their building fund! More information coming soon!
September 10th: Dallas County Association of Southern Baptists 135th Annual Meeting. We will be the host church for this.
