We are having a bake sale for Operation Christmas Child! It is scheduled for Saturday, August 30th at Urbana Bullseye, starting at 8 a.m. Please plan on putting your baking skills to work to support this ministry. There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer and Linda will be here Friday evening for you to drop off your goodies. We will also have a love offering for this ministry on Sunday the 31st so everyone has the opportunity to participate.
Associate/Youth Pastor Brad Benedict will be having DCASB Discipleship Training on August 25th at 6 p.m., here. There will be short video teachings followed by a question and answer session and discussion.
Today: The Gideons will be giving the morning message.
August 28th: DCASB Calebs Friends at Plad Baptist Church at 10 a.m.
August 31: We will be having our Fifth Sunday carry-in lunch after morning worship. Please bring your favorite potluck dish and use the sign-up sheet in the foyer.
September 3rd: Children's program begins at 4 p.m.
Youth begins at 5:30 p.m.
September 7th: The Lord’s Supper will be observed during worship.
September 9th: DCASB Annual Meeting at Promise Point at 2 p.m.
DCASB Ladies Bible Study Luke in the Land will be held on Tuesdays from September 16th-October 28th. There is a sign up in the foyer. It will be here 9:30-11:30 and Legacy from 1-3 and 6-8.
