Upcoming Events and Information June 1st, 2025
The Youth Group will still be in session Wednesday evenings this summer. If you are able to please sign up in the foyer to provide a meal for the youth. This would be a great way to contribute!
DCASB Camp forms are in the foyer for staff and campers. We do have scholarships available. Please see Pastor Brad for more information. Youth Camp is July 28th-August 1st; Children’s is August 4th-August 8th
Please sign up in the foyer to help with Sunday School or Worship Nursery.
Children’s VBS is July 7th-11th, Youth VBS is July 14th-16th. If you are able to help with either or both, please see Beverly or Heather. Also, we are asking our church family to provide desserts for VBS. Please use the sign-up sheet in the foyer!
We have baby bottles in the foyer for The Haven, which is the pregnancy and family resource center. Please fill with change and return by Father’s Day.
June 7th: DCASB Picnic in the Park at Bennett Springs State Park Shelter A (by the Spring) at 10 a.m. Please bring a side dish or dessert.
June 15th: Father’s Day, we will be updating our slideshow. Please submit pictures by June 7th to Heather via text or Facebook Messenger. Please submit up to five pictures or ten if we can put two on a slide.
June 22nd: VBS Meeting at 9 a.m. This is to go over final plans for VBS. This will be a short meeting. Please plan on attending!
June 26th: DCASB Caleb’s Friends at Cherry Grove at 10 a.m. This will be a carry in lunch. Enjoy a great message, food, and fellowship!
June 28th: City of Urbana Party in the Park! We are in need of people that can work our church table from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in one hour increments. We will be handing out church and VBS information. We also hope to register kids for VBS. Please use the sign-up sheet in the foyer!
June 29th: Fifth Sunday Lunch following worship! There is a sign-up sheet in the foyer. Please bring picnic themed foods.
