New Horizons is requesting donations of men’s button down shirt, cotton blend, (no polyester or snaps), to make dresses for Dress A Girl. Any older, closet clean shirts would be appreciated. Please give any donations to Teresa Brown.
We are collecting one item for Skyline Schools every month. If you are able to please put them in the box in the foyer.

DCASB Ladies Bible Study Luke in the Land will be held on Tuesdays from October 14th through November 4th. It will be here 9:30-11:30.
Adults, please join us each Wednesday for a meal & fellowship at 5:30 p.m. followed by a video series called “Fire On the Mountain”, prayer and discussion.
Today: Quarterly Business Meeting after morning worship. Elizabeth Costner, an OCC Shoebox Recipient as a child, will speak at Legacy Baptist Church at 4 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
October 18th: Cherry Grove Fall Festival and Fish Fry at 5 p.m. Pisgah’s Harvest Party at 6 p.m. Meal, bounces house, games, dessert & pumpkin contest.
October 23rd: Caleb’s Friends at Union Mound at 10 a.m. Enjoy a carry in lunch, fellowship, and message.
October 23rd: Fields of Grace free DCASB Ladies Event at Plad. Enjoy a pasta dinner, music, message, crafts, and book exchange.
October 25th: Annual Chili Fundraiser Dinner to benefit the Youth at 5:00 p.m. with chili & soup being served & a silent auction. Please use the sign-up sheets to bring soup and/or chili and to provide items for the silent auction.
October 31st: City of Urbana Halloween, here at 5 p.m. If you are able to help in the kitchen or at our church table please see Heather, Danielle, or Lindsey.
November 2nd: Daylight Savings Time, fall back on hour. The Lord’s Supper will be observed during morning worship.
November 9th: Veteran’s Day Slideshow. Please submit pictures to Heather.
November 16th: Firefighter Appreciation Dinner at 5 p.m. We will need help setting up, greeting, cooking, serving, and clean up.
