September 8th Upcoming Events/Information
During the month of September we will be doing an offering for The Baptist Home Healthcare Ministries. The Baptist Home has numerous campuses across the state. Their motto is “Rewriting the Standard of Christlike, Compassionate Care for the Aging”. Please use the plain envelopes that have been provided.
Tonight: At 6 p.m., enjoy music and a message from Kahl Gillispie.
September 10th: DCASB 135th Annual Meeting from 2-6, Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. We are in need of cookies and/or brownies for break times. Please use the sign-up sheet. Also, if you are able to help in the kitchen please see Linda.
September 11th: Youth and Children’s Programs Resume.
September 15th: Special Business Meeting immediately following worship.
September 15th: At 6 p.m. music with Charles Lewis & message by Kyle Mankey.
September 15th-18th: Windyville Baptist Church Revival at 7 p.m.
September 19th: DCASB Ladies 7-week Bible Study begins on Thursdays Times are: 9:30-11:30 at Louisburg, 1-3 at Legacy & 6-8 at Legacy. Please register.
September 29th: Bring a Friend Sunday! Fifth Sunday Carry in lunch.
October 6th: Breakfast at 9 a.m. followed by Sunday School. The Lord’s Supper will be observed during morning worship.
October 13th: We are looking for people who will give their testimony during Sunday night worship. Please see Joe Rooffener if you are interested.
October 13th: Business Meeting following worship. Submit reports by 10/7.
October 15th: DCASB Ladies Holiday Celebration at Legacy.
October 23rd-26th: Our Revival will be held at 6 p.m. each night with Dale Henderson. Please invite family, friends and neighbors.
October 27th: Dale Henderson will preach the morning service.
October 31st: City of Urbana Halloween. We will hand out food and treat bags.
November 4th: DCASB M-Might at Pisgah Baptist Church at 7 p.m.
November 4th-8th: Promise Point Revival with Brother Tyler Lynch.
November 19th: DCASB Executive Board at Olive Point at 7 p.m.
December 1st: Church Holiday Dinner
December 7th: City of Urbana Christmas Parade and Bazaar.
